Hi everyone, this is my very first blog so I thought I should start with a little introduction! I am the designer and creator of Pink Giraffe handmade clothing. I started Pink Giraffe last year after the birth of my little girl. I discovered as a lot of mums out there that the clothing selection for little girls is pretty basic and lets be honest a little boring. I wanted my little girl to wear clothing that made her look like a little girl, but could be classic and stylish and original!
The name Pink Giraffe was inspired by two children. My daughter is obsessed with a pink satin blanket called Pinky (honestly called Stinky sometimes) and my son has slept with this same stuffed giraffe every night for 4 years. So began Pink Giraffe.
My inspiration for my designs is from the 1960's and 1970's, my clothing is handmade using either vintage or limited run material. I can make any of my designs from size 000 to size 4 - even able to make larger sizes upon request.
